I had THE most fun at a photography workshop by two incredibly talented artists, Mark Horton and Lewis Membery both of which produce completely different styles of photography. Mark has a distinct style, his work is colourful, punchy, refreshingly different and unique. His brand stands out “For the wild and Badass” (I love this) and his work is raw and untraditional which speaks to me in so many ways!! Lewis is rooted in human connection creating heartfelt stories that makes you want to daydream and get lost in his images. Both Photographers make you go wow for completely different reasons. But both Photographers have something that resonates with me!! They are both adventurous in what they do and inject the love of why they do this into their work. For me, I love the colourful romance, the adventure and the magic of human connection and the beauty of the world around us.
While I usually focus on capturing the beauty of love and the great outdoors, it was so refreshing to step out of my comfort zone and delve into the beautiful world of indoor loft studio style photography. This was super fun!! It felt super Rock and Roll with the Motorbike and the eclectic racing flag bougis vibe! Hats off to this very talented team! I left the workshop feeling inspired with new techniques and knowledge to enhance my craft.
The atmosphere at the workshop was so warm and inviting, and I truly felt like I was surrounded by kindred spirits who shared my passion for photography. Mark and Lewis were not only experts in their field but also incredibly generous with their knowledge and insight. It’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
I came away from the workshop with a renewed sense of excitement and a collection of beautiful images that I am so proud of. It’s experiences like these that remind me of the importance of constantly learning and growing as a photographer. Here’s to many more adventures, new friends, and endless opportunities to capture love, happiness, and beauty in all its forms. Cheers to the journey ahead!
