Imagine stepping into a fairytale, surrounded by the soft glow of twinkling fairy lights and the fresh scent of the woods at Cheshire Woodland Weddings. This was the magical scene at George and Rhi’s Cheshire Woodland Wedding, where love was in the air and nature was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding.

One of my absolute moments from this wedding was capturing George and Rhi during the falconry show. The Guests and George and Rhi were amazed by the display and it was amazing to see and get to know more about these insane owls, eagles and other birds of prey. They were flying over peoples heads and under legs and whooshed past the couples faces as they were going in for a kiss. A Harry Potter meets Lord of The Rings fans dream!!!!   

Rhi stunning in her black dress, surprised everyone later in the evening by slipping into a white dress, needless to say when Rhi stepped onto the dance floor, George’s reaction was like watching the heart stopping moment from a romantic film!! Priceless!! The ceremony was also super emotional, with tears and laughter dancing in the crisp mossy air.

For Rhi and George, being outdoors in nature feels like home. And on this special day, everything seemed to fall into place as they exchanged vows. Their love story is like an old fairytale, full of romance, excitement yet full of sparks and adventures waiting to be discovered.

Also, can I mention that they have THE cutest sausage dog, who adds a sweet touch to their love story, making it even more warm and fuzzy.

Capturing their love at this awesome and earthy moody woodland was an adventure in itself, filled with joy, excitement, and a sense of relaxation that can only be found in the heart of nature. It was a day that reminded me why I love what I do, capturing love stories in all their beauty and wonder.

So here’s to Rhi and George, may your love story continue to unfold like a beautiful picture book, full of romance, adventure, and the magic of the woods. And may your love shine as bright as the fairy lights that surrounded you both on your special day.

Yes, Rhi has made all of the centre pieces for the tables and both her and her daughter’s bouquets.

Any advice for future Brides & Grooms in planning their wedding?

Enjoy the process and try not to stress about it! Make a spreadsheet to track everything and you’ll be fine.
